Beautiful, clean, great location, hot tub, fire pit, grill, large porches, and excellent WIFI!
This cabin is a tastefully decorated, new Swedish-inspired build featuring 16-foot-high ceilings, an open floor plan, large covered porches, a fire pit, and a private, new hot tub. Inside, you’ll find a beautiful living space featuring locally sourced oak and knotty pine walls, hickory flooring, cherry cabinets, and an abundance of windows overlooking a vast forest. Enjoy colorful sunrises and sunsets from this hilltop cabin that overlooks 91 acres of private woods.
When booking through VRBO, upgrade packages are available to enhance a romantic retreat.
There is fabulous hiking on our property’s trails (find fairies in our whirly twirly fairy trail, get lost in the maze of confusion, and hike the Settlers’ Graveyard).
This property is adjacent to Waterloo Wildlife Area (2300 acres) and is surrounded by Zaleski State Forest.
Explore the area (Lake Hope’s Old Hollow Cave and Pioneer Cemetery trail is amazing). This property is in a great location between a hip college town (Athens) and the amazing Hocking Hills region.

Perfect for visiting Lake Hope State Park
